Microcators are spring-loaded measuring heads, which gives them a number of advantages (no "dead travel," low friction in the mechanism links).
Microcators are designed for absolute and relative linear measurements, for controlling the deviation of the shape and position of surfaces. They have a wide range of division values and high accuracy.
A spring-loaded compact measuring head – a micrometer is similar in design to a micrometer, but with reduced dimensions. A micrometer can be used as a measuring device in various fixtures and instruments. There are micrometer models with reduced measuring force (up to 50 Gs).
